Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;


God has given us free choice.  The Bible makes it clear that God wants us to be both justified and sanctified.  These two are equally important in our salvation, and you will hardly ever see one mentioned without the other in some form.  However, God will not force sanctification on us.  He wants us to choose to be sanctified.  If we choose to be sanctified, then and only then are we justified.
