God is not responsible 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. If we sin, God is not to blame for any part of it. In the book of Job, Satan is the one shown tempting Job with the loss of his wealth, his family, his friends, and his health. While God permits us to be tempted for a time, He Himself does not do any tempting. Instead, God is love. A loving God would never hinder His own work of our salvation. Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that we will never be tempted beyond what we are able to handle. Should there be some overwhelming challenge to our obedience to God, we can have faith that if we cling to Him, He will save us from our trials.
